So....I am kind of bad at this!!

Sorry I am such a slacker with the whole blogging world. I honestly should not be doing this right now. I have a 9 page paper that I REALLY need to get done. The boyz are growing like weeds. I think Krue is going to have Slade beat in no time! It took us about 2-3 months but we are almost moved in completely. These pictures are just from my phone so not the greatest quality, but definitely the cutest boys!
Krue is 6 months old now. He smiles all the time! His new thing is blowing raspberries. He is a squirmy little guy and I think he will be crawling really soon. I am excited but scared at the same time....he is going to get into everything! He has been sitting up by himself since Sunday, wow time flies!
Slade is 2 1/2 now. He is sooooo much fun. It doesn't matter what time of day or where we are, he always has everyones attention and is a little show off. He loves that his Travis, Mandy, and Mason are back home. He is trying to play with Krue and is always "helping" us with him. He learned how to hold his breath when he goes under water in the hottub the other day with Uncle Tyson. Let's just say in the last 4 days I've heard, "I swimming?" about a billion times. He is still eating like a champ, but we are still working on the potty training. I am really in no big rush. He just isn't quite ready, he is really good at "hiding" if you know what I mean!!! I am always so amazed at how fast his vocabulary grows and how much he understands. We are SO blessed to have two wonderful boys.

Slade Man

I just can't even believe how fast Slade is growing and he is so smart! His vocabulary is growing. He said a 4 word sentence the other day perfectly.."Andy, I got you!" We are starting to potty train, but that it really hard since we don't have a "schedule" because of work and all...But the best thing the last few weeks is he is eating, ALOT!!! This has been such a struggle but now he is asking for food!! His favorites right now are any type of fruit, hot dogs, and noodles. Slade also played in the water, with worms, and got dirty camping.

So I have not posted in a long time.....only a few reasons. Since my last post I started my Master's, we moved, I went back to work, etc etc etc. But hey it's been fun!

Moving was awesome (not really). Thank goodness Uncle Rick let us borrow his trailer and we have great family to help!! Now Jake and I are closer to work. It is so nice to sleep in 30 more minutes before work!

Slade

Slade has been fun this week also. We pulled out his swimming pool...he would only stand in it though. It was to "brrr". We also went up to Rexburg and drove past the temple....but of course Slade has to add some humor and call it a "pemple" which sounds a lot like pimple! Everyday he comes up with new words and it is so exciting because now I ALMOST know what he wants.

Here come the Smiles...

Well I have been having a heck of a time trying to get pictures load so that is a reason I haven't posted forever. ANYWAYS..For about the past week Krue has been smiling SO much. He gives us extra big smiles in the morning when he wakes up... that definitely gets the day going to a good start! He has also been cooing a lot also. Krue had his 2 month check up today...11lbs4oz!! I think he will actually have meat on his bones unlike Slade! Sad part is, he got his first set of shots today )=.

Father's Day

I realize I am posting this late, but it's been pretty busy. Probably the 2nd best father's day gift that Jake received was....He passed his NCLEX. (He found out the day before.) So yes everyone can now make fun of Jake for being a "nurse"! The first of course was being able to spend time with his boys after working the night before. We have a lot of great fathers and grandfathers to be thankful for and wish them all a Happy Father's Day! We love you!

Blessing Day

Krue was blessed this week by his daddy. He had a lot of family there to support him. It was a really neat experience! Krue looked very cute in his tux ,as you can see. How perfect is it that he smiled for the picture and I didn't even try?!
